Vehicle Compliance Program

Transport Companies and or vehicle owners wishing to have their vehicle inspected under the SLP Pass-2-Load program must complete an SLP Vehicle Compliance Program online application.

VCP is a web base system where dangerous goods transport operators are required to register their vehicles, providing basic vehicle information before the vehicle will be accepted by an SLP authorised inspection location for an SLP Pass-2-Load inspection.

  1. Transport company / vehicle owner – apply for access to SLP – VCP (vehicle Compliance Program)
  2. Enter all company vehicles into the VCP system, including basic data.
  3. Contact an SLP AIL and book the vehicle in for inspection
  4. AIL will confirm the vehicle is in the VCP before accepting the vehicle for inspection.
  5. AIL completes the inspection and loads the inspection data in the VCP against the vehicle.

The VCP system has been designed to meet SLP’s joint venture partners requirements in meeting due diligence and chain of responsibility legislation requirements.
Bulk fuel terminal operators in Australia are required to ensure that all vehicles entering their bulk fuel facilities have provided evidence that their vehicles are fit to load and fit to transport dangerous goods in Australia.
