Driver Renewal Process

1 ) Access the SLP Driver Portal; by using your SLP ID number/Username and password. You can find your 5-Digit SLP ID number on your identification card. If you have forgotten your password, please call our support team to reset your password. Once logged in and before moving to step 2, you can review the SLP training material stored against your account for a refresher before beginning the renewal process.

2 ) Complete the Online Renewal Process; Once you have logged in to the program, you should see a red box with a link to prompt you to ‘Click here to begin the Renewal process’. This link will then take you through a checklist to complete the online renewal process. To move through the checklist, there will be a green button on the top of the screen that says ‘next’, by clicking this button, you can move through the steps of the process.

The first step is to review your personal information stored with SLP and update any information where required. There will also be a few video updates that will need to be watched explaining any changes that have been made to the program. Once you have updated your details and have watched the videos, the checklist will take you through to the payment portal. This is where you enter your credit card details to process the renewal fee of $150.00
Once approved, you will have finished the checklist and have completed the Online Renewal process.

3) Complete your online training assessment; Once you have completed your online renewal payment and you return to your main desktop page you should see a green box with a link to begin your “online assessment”. This link will then take you through to complete the online assessment process. To move through the checklist, there will be a green button on the top of the screen that says ‘next’, by clicking this button, you can move through the steps of the process.

You are provided with 3 attempts to complete this online assessment, if after 3 attempts you have failed to reach a pass score, you must contact SLP or your SLP trainer for further advice.

4) Once you have passed the online assessment you will receive your SLP ID card within 10 -15 working days.

  • ID cards are posted to the delivery address that you have provided to SLP.
  • You will continue to have online access to all the training videos for a period of 2 years.
