LOAD TRAINING “DRIVER ID”
Safe Load Program (SLP) load training and identification program equips industry drivers, terminal operators, and trainers with the knowledge and skills to safely enter and load liquid fuel tankers at fuel terminals or depots.
Developed in collaboration with safety specialists from across the Australian oil industry, this unified training program enhances industry safety by eliminating trainee confusion and reducing repetitive training across multiple industry participants.
MODULES Released in 2014, the load training program consists of four video modules and assessment:

3. Vehicle Loading
4. Tanker & Gantry Knowledge

TRAINERS are licensed by the Safe Load Program and required to deliver training in accordance with the SLP trainer manual.
FEES
SLP does not control individual trainer costs for SLP load training, we suggest that trainees should expect to pay between $300.00 and $500.00 maximum for either classroom or remote video training (e.g., via Zoom, Skype, Teams, FaceTime). We suggest you get a quote from more than one trainer when booking remote video training.
REMOTE TRAINING
video training is only ever delivered on a “one-to-one” basis (trainer to a single trainee), unless otherwise approved by Safe Load Program management.
PERFORMANCE
trainers are required to provide Safe Load Program with a monthly list of all trainees who have attended and completed SLP load training.
Safe Load Program management will randomly contact trainees to conduct training surveys and gather feedback on trainer performance, knowledge, and delivery of the training content.
